Why is Steve running?
I am excited about shaping the new direction of our government.
Through my 17 years as a community police officer I have been involved in numerous social agencies to advance public safety and community priorities.
Community development is built on basic principles of common sense, building relationships and engaging the community in problems that affect them. These principles are not unique to policing and I will bring the same approach and community based perspective to government as the MLA for Edmonton-Riverview.
Fundamental to the job description of an MLA is to create a climate of cooperation at all levels of government, as well as with businesses, communities and individual Albertans. I expect to be held accountable as I build trust and legitimacy in our government in a way that empowers enterprise, small business, community, sports, and the arts—all of which contribute to our quality of life in Alberta.

Thanks to everyone who came out and met Premier Redford at our campaign office on March 29.
It was a great gathering and a wonderful opportunity to connect with so many residents of Edmonton-Riverview.
Thanks for your support. Please drop by our office anytime, I would love to talk to you! (8910 149 Street, Edmonton).
Here are a couple photos from the event.
